(ContentDesk) May 7, 2004--The Fort Green Photography Organization (FGPO), in conjunction with the South Of the Navy Yard Artists (SONYA) "2004 Open Studio Stroll", is thrilled to present a photographic exhibition showcasing the exciting works of 25 talented member photographers. This exhibit will feature a variety of works which display the extraordinary photographic skills, vision, and imagination of these artists. The variety and quality of the photographs to be presented guarantees an exciting artistic presentation.The Fort Greene Photography Organization's exhibition will take place on May 15th and May 16th, 2004 at 101 Lafayette Street (The Griffin Building) in Brooklyn, NY. The photographs will be on display to the public from 12:00p.m.to 6:00p.m.daily. A reception will be held on Saturday, May 15th, 6-9p.m.FGPO's previous participation in SONYA events has been extremely successful, and we anticipate this exhibition will continue what is a tradition of success.The Fort Greene Photography Organization, a community based organization, was founded in January 2001 to advance public interest in photography, expose the public to the works of emerging photographersthrough exhibitions and other events, and to provide emerging photographers with a forum to expose their work to the public.FGPO aims to organize, sponsor, and present exhibitions, forums, lectures and discussions related to photography in order to foster a greater appreciation and understanding of photography by the general public, and make it accessible to all.For more information, please visit http://fgpo.org/ or contact the FGPOCommunications Committee at e-mail protected from spam bot.
